Valerie from our office recently brought this up in our staff meeting and it was so fascinating that we decided to share with you.

Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.

And as you’d expect – there’s an app for that! It’s called Geocaching, and it’s free for Android phones and iPhones. Here’s how it works:

The screenshots below show the screen where you can locate geocaches nearby, then clicking on a specific one to read the story, view the hint, look at the recent activity. And then a screenshot of what your profile looks like.
