Did you know that the FBI's #1 recommendation to prevent data breaches is to educate your staff on security awareness?

Pink Hat Tech - Sharp Business Systems’ Cyber Security division, has partnered up with some of the world’s most popular platforms for security awareness training and simulated phishing attacks. By doing that, our goal is to make sure your employees understand the threats and entry techniques of spam, phishing, and social engineering; and are able to apply this knowledge in their day-to-day job.

A phishing e-mail is an e-mail sent by hackers designed to fool the recipient into downloading a virus, giving up their credit card number, or personal information (like a social security number) to a particular web site. Often these e-mails are well designed to look exactly like an official notification from the site they are trying to emulate.

Why should you train your end users?

The #1 vulnerability for business networks are the employees using them. It’s extremely common for a user to infect an entire network by opening and clicking a malicious e-mail. If they don’t know how to spot infected e-mails or online scams, they could compromise your entire network.

The monthly program we run for our clients includes:

  • Phishing email testing to make sure your users are able to detect and report ongoing scams
  • Comprehensive online training courses designed to educate your employees on security awareness and current threats used by the bad guys

We manage the program for you including training, random phishing emails and reporting, where we send a different pretend phishing email each month to the whole staff, to make sure no one is clicking on what they shouldn’t. We also make it fun, raffling off a $15 Amazon Gift Card among staff members who were extremely vigilant and didn’t click on any links.

Want us to do a test phishing of your staff, to see how they are doing? SURE! Let us know and you can have a one-time test run at no charge to you.
